Referrals

Frontline staff in the NHS, social services and other health and care organisations have a vital role to play in tackling the problems of housing-related ill health. They are in a prime position to identify those most at risk and refer them to HEET. One referral to HEET can link patients and clients into other home improvement schemes and related services.

Your referrals will increase the quality of life for those referred, enabling them to live in a safe and warm home. This will help to reduce the number of cold-associated illnesses and accidents (see Why it matters to keep warm) and reduce some of the pressure on your services - particularly in the winter months.
